We must seek His word and obey it, yes, for the body of Christ, yes, for our church and families, but most importantly, for ourselves. But if we are to walk in a place of true blessing, it’s very important to understand that each one of us are different and each one of us has a different calling in life. We still have the written word and that will bring us to salvation and sanctification. In other words, if we don’t know His voice, or believe that He still talks to people today, we will never walk in the destiny He has for us. But what about His rhema, or spoken word? In other words, what is He speaking to you in particular? What rhema has He given you? This is the word that will bring us into the land that He promised for us. In His word are timeless treasures which help us to go from children to sons and daughters. Rhema is the spoken Word it is the inspired utterance of the Word of God from your mouth, whereas Logos, by comparison, is more reasoned than inspired. The Bible admonishes us to take Rhema and win with it. It’s different from the Logos of God, which is God’s Word in general. Through it we grow and build our relationship with the Lord and with each other. Rhema is a now worda personal word for the moment concerning you. The entirety or the word of God is for us today. The Rhema-Word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the Rhema-Word of faith, which we preach. It represents a divine devotional truth quickened by God and then expressed through the heart and mouth of man. They are, simply put, to listen to His voice and then obey what He speaks to us. Now, when the New Testament uses the term Rhema-Word, it refers to divinely inspired insights.

In verses 21 +22 there are prerequisites to these promises.

But before we concentrate on these things, His blessings to us, let’s understand, first what we are to do. Through this service God promises us 4 very vital things.
